After the great success of the previous editions returns Divino Vino - Suoni DiVini, the festival of music and art inspired by the sacred and local traditions scheduled from 8 to 10 November 2013 in the Cathedral of Sorrento, with three events of great artistic and cultural value. Friday, November 8th will be a concert for the unique skill of Park Stickney, one of the most representative harpists in the world. His trio (Park Stickney harp, Dino Contenti and Gigi Biolcati on bass, percussion) offers a well-established concert particularly impressive. Saturday, November 9th will be the time of the performance of Enzo Avitabile (voice, text, music, arpina and sopranino sax), accompanied by Gianluigi Di Fenza (guitar ), Carlo Avitabile (crate, drum, tambourine and castanets) and Marco Pescosolido (cello), entitled Napoletana. The artist, the star of the Venice Film Festival with the documentary “Music Life” has gathered his recent work in the most beautiful concert for Divino Vino - Suoni DiVini that will also have the participation of the choir of the Cathedral.
At the conclusion will be held the concert event (Sunday, 10th November) by Gino Paoli (voice) and Danilo Rea (piano), who will play songs from their new CD entitled “Napoli con amore” to interpret in their own way the classic Neapolitan music. Will not miss the songs “Torna a Surriento” and “Anema e Core”. Gino Paoli, an icon in the history of Italian music, and Danilo Rea decided to dedicate a tribute to the Neapolitan melody, which are both passionate and knowledgeable listeners, being in particular admirers of Libero Bovio, Salvatore Di Giacomo and Roberto Murolo. The concerts will be held at 20:30 in the Cathedral of Saints Filippo and Giacomo in Sorrento.
The event, which boasts one of the artists who performed in the previous editions names such as Peppe Servillo, Gianmaria Testa, Claudio Fabi and others, also includes a section dedicated to art with craft exhibitions of rare workmanship. In this edition expose Raffaele Auricchio and Vincenzo Pisapia a collection of musical instruments made miniature for nativity ornament while Emidio Ausiello and Michele Maione offer the public the chance to admire their particular collection of frame drums and tammorre titled “Percussioni dal mondo - Frame Drums”.
Admission to exhibitions and concerts is free. Will be held tastings of local products whose proceeds will be donated to charity in favor of the association of social promotion “Il prossimo e il futuro”.
