The monumental works of the master Mario Banedetto Robazza exposed in Villa Comunale enchant citizens and guests of Sorrento: thousands and thousands of photographs have already been around the world. Sorrento pays homage to Dante Alighieri as in the 750 years of the birth. "The Inferno of Dante in Paradiso di Sorrento", runs through 18 marble panels in high relief for an area of ​​90 square meters; a job that required a powerful commitment also physical artist, a great connoisseur of Dante, lasted five years. The event already welcomed in Chinese cities Wenzhou, Nanjin and Ningho, with millions of visitors, as well as in Rome and Florence, he was wanted by the Sorrento Foundation for its cultural value. The panels that describe the journey of Dante and Virgil in Hell were exposed for the first time in the Hall Brunelleschi in Florence in 1995. The exhibition will remain open until August 31, it is daily visited by many tourists who are flocking Sorrento in spring. The Town Park is the destination of many school children also visiting the exhibition with educational purposes.
